Apartment Telemark One (A4)

Description

The first of our two apartments in the Telemark building, this property is ideal for up to five people. The apartment is superbly located just a stroll from all amenities. The Super Morzine telecabine lift to Avoriaz is 50 meters away, alongside the Intersport ski hire shop. The Pleney lifts and ski schools are a five minute walk in the opposite direction. All your requirements during a week`s skiing holiday can be met without walking far from the apartment. Restaurants, shopping, bars, discos and even a cinema are all within easy reach.

The apartment is of an unusually high standard, having a feeling of space and quality rarely encountered in a ski resort apartment. The comfortable living area has a well equipped kitchen (gas hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher), dining table with seating for up to 5. Take a look at the floor plan for a clear view of the layout. We provide entertainment for the odd rest day or evening in with TV (Netflix/Amazon Prime enabled), books and games.

The apartment has one delightful main bedroom which can be a twin or a double bed with doors leading out onto a balcony.

The mezzanine is reached by a staircase and it has three single beds, as you can see from the photo the roof is low. The double bed in the main bedroom and the three singles on the mezzanine make up the total sleeping accommodation for five.

Finally there is a delightful bathroom and separate WC situated across the corridor opposite the main bedroom.

A large balcony runs around the apartment, and from here guests can have great fun watching the world stroll by in the streets below.

One final point the apartment has the use of a ski store and one covered parking space.

The accommodation was perfect for the 4 of us. Location was amazing. Enjoyed having a beer on the balcony in the evenings! Had everything we needed for the week. Beds were all comfortable. We thought the location of the apartment was fantastic, the apartment itself was very good and a supply of basics on arrival was a great unexpected bonus, communications from Miranda were very good and very helpful when we arrived early. We used your service for Ski passes and partner for Ski hire, the door to door service from All Terrain was brilliant, came back and changed my boots no problem, very friendly and very helpful. The apartment was in a brilliant location - only a minutes walk from the little train to access the Pleney lift and really convenient for the supermarket and restaurants. We booked telemark one based on a previous stay at Morzine when we had looked about to choose a location suited to our needs. The original attraction for us were the good communication cited by previous visitors and this proved correct. Every time I made contact with trivial queries I got a speedy response. The draw of this apartment itself was location - minutes walk from the Super Morzine to access the chairlifts for trail running, close proximity to the pool so that as a family we could come and go, the ease to get supplies - the Spar, the boulangerie and then the Carrefour for bigger shopping trips. We also felt that there was less danger of party noise and that was correct. There is street noise in early morning but closing shutters and curtains was effective. We appreciated the welcome pack of food, the 2 fans and the working tv so that we could stay updated on the Tour de France. The apartment is compact but we had all we needed. Off street parking is also a plus. Thumbs up from us!

We had a great stay at Telemark 1, made even better by the fantastic service from Alptitude that we have now enjoyed on many occasions – location is right in town with shops, restaurants, & the Super Morzine bubble less than a minutes’ walk away. The apartment has everything you’ll need for a summer or winter break with ski-locker, bike storage and under cover parking. The wrap around balcony offers excellent views in several directions which we weren’t expecting. Overall a really good choice and we would definitely return.

Great trip thanks and superb snow last few days. The service from Alptitude was great with access strait to the apartment and assistance with carrying suitcases right to the door via transfer booked with the farm house. Transfer for the home trip also arrived exactly on time. As for Telemark 1 apartment, Its in a great location only a short walk to the ski lifts and town for bars and restaurants. The apartment has a great layout and meets the general needs of 4 people, 5 at a push. All in all a good trip and one I would recommend. Great town and quiet location.

We stayed at Telemark One at the end of January 2013. There is a double bedroom, bathroom, toilet, kitchen area and a large balcony overlooking the street on the one floor and a large mezzanine type floor above with single beds. The mezzanine floor creaks quite a bit when there is someone walking around up there and you can hear it below. The furniture and dÃ©cor is adequate for a ski holiday. The apartment is located in a superb position, in the centre of the village above the sandwich bar and opposite the pharmacy. The supermarket is on your doorstep and the boulangerie opposite. It is very close to all the restaurants and within easy walking distance of both the Pleny and Super Morzine lifts. This is the second time we have been with Alptitude and I wouldn't hesitate recommending this company. Both Ben and Beth offer a very professional service and all your queries are answered promptly and efficiently. Do go with the lift pass service they provide, you get a discount you wouldn't be able to get yourself and they are brought to you as soon as you arrive. We also hired the ski equipment online via Alptitude with All Mountain Rental and the equipment is also delivered to the chalet very quickly after informing them of your arrival. There is also a transfer service from the airport available too.

We found the apartment to be quite compact for our group makeup, but this was made up for by being in such a brilliant location.

You do not need a car as everything is within easy walking distance, bakery opposite – ski lifts not far away etc.

The apartment is well equipped and was always lovely and warm.

We would be happy to go back there again and Morzine is a beautiful place.

Ben was very reliable and dealt with everything we asked of him.
