Chalet Le Minouchet

Description

Chalet Le Minouchet is in a perfect location being just below the main return ski piste back to Morzine from the Pleney slopes, allowing guests to ski easily to the chalet at the end of the day (snow conditions permitting). To return to the pistes in the morning a short walk onto the slopes behind the chalet is all thats needed. If you prefer to ski Avoriaz and the rest of the Portes du Soleil circuit a short walk across the town in front of the chalet takes you to the Super Morzine bubble from the top of which you can ski to Avoriaz.

The chalet is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the town to be quiet and serenely alpine yet close enough to enjoy all the amenities, restaurants and bars of Morzine on foot.

Chalet Minouchet sleeps up to 10 people across 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. Spread across 3 floors the chalet provides more than enough room to kick back and relax after a hard days skiing.

From the ground floor up the chalet includes a heated garage/tech room for storage of all your ski gear. Kitted out with seating, hooks and hangers the garage creates the perfect space for getting ready for the days activities. A washing machine, a tumble drier and drying racks available for those needing to do laundry or for drying out wet gear.

The first of four bedrooms is also situated on the ground floor and has twin beds, along with an en-suite bathroom and power shower. On the second floor two more bedrooms are located, one is a fixed double and the other is a twin bedroom. Theres is also a modern bathroom with shower. Also on this floor is the open plan kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials to eat in including an oven, microwave and dishwasher. There is also access out onto the balcony and furnished patio/garden area.

Upstairs is the 4th bedroom which can be a twin or a double along with a set of bunk beds. There is also a bathroom, toilet and the sitting room. The sitting room includes three comfy sofas, a 32″ flat screen TV with UK Freesat, Apple TV and iPod dock – a perfect space to while away those long dark nights waiting for the first lift in the morning.

Chalet Minouchet was a lovely chalet which was perfect for our group of ten. The beds were very comfortable. Miranda was quick and efficient to respond to a couple of queries we had regarding wifi and checking out. From start to finish we could not fault Alptitude chalets, Beth was lovely to deal with when booking etc and always quick to respond. We certainly hope we will return to Morzine and use Alptitude again.

Nous sommes partis à 8 au chalet le Minouchet. 5 adultes et 3 enfants. L'emplacement est bon. On peut rentrer à skis au chalet par une prairie. Le chalet est très confortable. Les lits sont bons. Les salles de bains très bien. Le local à skis est un vrai plus pour s\'équiper. La terrasse est au soleil à midi. La décoration est agréable. Le chalet est très bien chauffé. Nos forfaits de ski étaient au chalet à notre arrivée. Le service est excellent. Nous avons eu un problème avec un évier et quelqu'un est venu le régler dans la journée. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour et nous avons beaucoup aimé notre location.

Chalet Le Minouchet was the perfect chalet for our family group to stay in. The location was great for a 10 minute walk to shops, lifts and restaurants. The chalet was very clean with plenty of hot water for all those showers and baths needed after a active day skiing. I found the website very easy to use with lots of information available for our stay. Making the booking and payments online was so simple. We\'ll definitely look on Alptitude again for our next trip to Morzine. Thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chalet Minouchet. The chalet is comfortable and very well equipped ..... absolutely ideal for medium to large groups. The only slight issue for us were the stairs between the lounge area on the upper floor and kitchen/dining area on the \'middle\' floor. Only because we had our 4-yr old grandson and 2-yr old granddaughter with us. No problem though, as Ben very kindly provided a stair gate for us to use. Great value for money and highly recommended!
